The famous and feared gangster at the helm of the Chicago Outfit, Al Capone was known for his stylish suits, his flamboyant lifestyle, and for guarding his loot with elaborate schemes as well as Thompson submachine guns.

One such tactic was buying up entire Pullman sleeper train cars for himself and his gang following a crime spree, where they would ride in style to Kansas City or Little Rock and live it up for a week or two under assumed names.
