Leather Belt Size Guide | Measure Your Belt
For an Ashland belt, measure from the belt buckle to the hole you use most, or take your jeans size and add 2 inches. Belts are sized to the middle hole. If you fall between even sizes, choose the next size up.
Measure a belt that already fits
- Lay the belt flat.
- Measure from where the leather meets the buckle to the hole you use most. Do not measure the entire belt.
- Order the Ashland belt size matching that measurement in inches.
No belt to measure? Use your jeans size
Add 2 inches to your usual jeans waist size. For example, if you wear 34 jeans, order a 36 belt.
Leather can stretch up to about 1 inch over time. For a snug fit, size down an inch. If you fall between even sizes, size up.
Fit checks before ordering
Use the jeans size that fits you now, not an older smaller pair. Where you wear the belt and the thickness of your clothing can change the fit. Ashland sizes to the middle hole to leave adjustment room in both directions.
