The Leather: Horween® Shell Cordovan
Widely considered the finest leather in the world, Shell Cordovan is vegetable-tanned at Horween® over six months in roughly 100 mostly-manual steps: a process unchanged since 1905. Its dense fiber structure resists creasing (it rolls rather than creases), and it's self-polishing: a quick pass with a horsehair brush revives the glassy luster. No polish needed.
How It Ages
Natural is the lightest shade Horween® makes, which means it has the most patina potential and the most dramatic transformation ahead of it. The tone deepens and layers of luster build with every carry.
FAQ
Why does Shell Cordovan cost more? Each shell is vegetable-tanned over six months in ~100 mostly-manual steps, and demand outstrips what Horween® can make.
How is it slimmer than a normal bifold? Cards sit beside each other, not on top of each other: capacity without the stack.
Good for travel? That's its specialty: full-size foreign notes fit flat, and the exterior slot takes a passport.
How do I care for it? A quick pass with a horsehair brush brings back the shine: Shell Cordovan is self-polishing, no product needed.

RETURNS
If you receive an item and don't love it, we will accept any unused item back. Refunds can be made within 90 days of purchase, with a full refund for items in like-new condition. Personalized and monogrammed items cannot be returned.
