This limited edition features Wooly Chromexcel Horsehide—a masterwork produced personally by Skip Horween®. This isn't a standard leather; it’s a specialized evolution of the world-famous Chromexcel formula, offering an aesthetic depth and tactile richness that few hides can match.

Reinforced with high-density Volara foam, the LaSalle features a self-standing architecture that protects your laptop while ensuring the bag never collapses, maintaining its sharp silhouette on your desk or the floor.

The Materials

The Leather: Wooly Chromexcel Horsehide. Hand-curated by Skip Horween®, this leather boasts an intense grain character and a strikingly bright luster. Its high oil and wax content creates a rich, "wooly" feel and an intense pull-up effect, where the leather lightens and shifts color beautifully as it moves and ages.

The Strap: Horween® Tumbled Illini Latigo. Specially processed for a broken-in feel and immediate comfort from day one.

The Hardware: 100% solid brass and YKK Excella zippers—the world’s smoothest, highest-grade fastener.

    First time with Horween leather? You might be surprised how easily it picks up marks. But don't worry, that's a good thing! Those little scuffs are the start of a beautiful journey called patina – where your leather develops a unique character with wear. Think of it like a fine wine aging to perfection.

    Most minor scuffs buff out with your finger, and everyday use actually helps polish the leather. Horween® leather is packed with natural oils, so you don't need to condition it right away. After six months or a year, give it some love with our Tanner's Blend conditioner (made by a master tanner!). A little goes a long way – just use a dab and a soft brush to keep your Ashland gear looking its best.
