We hand-select thick 2.0-2.4 mm pieces of shell cordovan for a single-layer construction. A single layer of shell cordovan is the most comfortable and best aging leather for a watch strap. Each wear helps accumulate a patina and polishing effect on the leather, as it becomes more comfortable each day.
