Widely considered the finest leather in the world, Shell Cordovan is vegetable-tanned at Horween® over six months in roughly 100 mostly-manual steps — a process unchanged since 1905. Its dense fiber structure resists creasing, and it's self-polishing: a quick pass with a horsehair brush revives the glassy luster.

    To keep your shell cordovan looking its best:

    Beat the heat: Don't leave your wallet in a hot car.

    Effortless shine: Just carry it, and your wallet develops a beautiful polish naturally in your pocket.

    With just a little care, your shell cordovan will last for years. A soft cloth and horsehair brush are all you need for regular cleaning.

    Ashland leather comes pre-oiled, so hold off on conditioners for a few months. Later, if you'd like, try Saphir Cordovan Cream or Horween Venetian Shoe Cream for an extra touch of care.
