Leather Belt FAQs
What size belt should I order?
Measure a belt you already wear, from where the leather meets the buckle to the hole you use most, or take your jean size and add 2″. If you wear 34 jeans, order a 36. We size our belts to the middle hole so you have room to move in either direction. The leather can stretch up to about 1″ depending on how hard you pull the belt closed, so for a snug fit you can size down an inch. We make even sizes only, so if you are between sizes, size up.

What sizes do you carry?
Even sizes from 30 to 42 inches. If you need a size outside that range, tell us here and we will let you know what we can do.
What leather are the belts made from?
Full grain Horween® Dublin and Illini Latigo, plus Horween® Chromexcel®. Each belt is cut as a single strap with no filler, glue, or plastic core, so the belt cannot delaminate. Learn about Horween® leather and how each tannage ages.
Are the belts water-resistant?
Dublin, Chromexcel®, and Latigo are hot-stuffed with oils and waxes during tanning, which makes them water-resistant, not waterproof. If a belt gets soaked, wipe it down and let it dry at room temperature away from direct heat.
What does the lifetime guarantee cover?
We guarantee stitching and leather against coming apart under normal use. Exceptions: misuse of the product. Not a blanket replace-for-any-reason policy. Full details are on our returns and guarantees page.
