Leather Belt FAQs
What size belt should I order?
Order 2 inches larger than your jean size. If you wear 34 jeans, order a 36. We size our belts to the middle hole so you have room to move in either direction. The most accurate method is to measure a belt you already wear from the buckle fold to the hole you use.
Will the belt stretch?
Expect about 1 inch of give, roughly one hole, as the strap breaks in. That is already factored into the sizing advice above.
What sizes do you carry?
Even sizes from 30 to 42 inches. If you need a size outside that range, tell us here and we will let you know what we can do.
What leather are the belts made from?
Horween® Dublin, Chromexcel, and Illini Latigo, cut as a single full grain strap with no filler, glue, or plastic core, so the belt cannot delaminate. Learn about Horween® leather and how each tannage ages.
Are the belts water-resistant?
Dublin, Chromexcel, and Latigo are hot-stuffed with oils and waxes during tanning, which makes them water-resistant, not waterproof. If a belt gets soaked, wipe it down and let it dry at room temperature away from direct heat.
What does the lifetime guarantee cover?
We guarantee stitching and leather against coming apart under normal use. Exceptions: misuse of the product. Not a blanket replace-for-any-reason policy. Full details are on our returns and guarantees page.
