The LaSalle Briefcase | Horween® Aspen Horsehide

Handcrafted in Chicago for people who carry real work. The LaSalle is built from Horween® Aspen Horsehide, with a natural pebbled grain and a rich luster. The leather is finished with a casein protein top coat that makes it scratch resistant, and it still picks up character as you carry it. Volara® foam padding helps it hold its shape and stand upright on your desk or the airport floor.

    Horween® Leather: Built to Wear In

    First time with Horween® leather? The Aspen Horsehide on the LaSalle is scratch resistant, but it is still real leather, and light marks and patina are a normal part of how it ages. Over time it develops its own character with wear.

    Horween® Aspen Horsehide is finished with a casein protein top coat, so you do not need to condition it right away. After six months or a year, give it some care with our Tanner's Blend conditioner (made by a master tanner). A little goes a long way: use a dab and a soft brush to keep your Ashland gear looking its best.
